  2. Great list! Hay-On-Wye is beautiful, I definitely recommend a trip there, and I would love to go to the Reykjavik International Literary Festival.

    1. I think it´s a nice book town. perhaps they can offer a nice cup of tea, too, with sandwiches, scones, clotted cream and jam

    6. Yes, I was born in Germany but lived abroad for about half of my life. Never in Scandinavia, though, unfortunately. But my son does and he loves it.

    3. is that so? I used to love it. books, books, books. and people interested in books. it´s hard to get some food and there are looooong queues to the toilets. doesn´t it sound lovely?

      My son has finished his master's degree and is now looking for a job, so his days in Göteborg might be numbered. But I can go on my own. LOL
